Where is the appartement in marrakech ?
The appartements is located 40 avenue Hassan 2 in Gueliz district. This avenue goes from train station to post office. The building is near attijari wafa bank . There is a small shop near the building open nearly 24/24 . Previously there was a famous restaurant called safran canellle in the basement of the building . The restaurant is closed now ,but some taxi drivers still remember .

How do you access the appartement ?
You will get the instructions per mail after your booking.

How to get to the appartement?
If you arrive by plane there are two options :

1) you take a taxi to the building it should not cost more than 150 drh; you have to negociate

2) you take the bus that goes to the train station and than you go down Hassan 2 avenue in front of train station ; it is just 5 minutes walk to reach the building

If you come by car the avenue Hassan 2 is just in front of the train station ; there is opportunities to find parking In the streets near the building and there is a public parking available in rue de yougoslavie the street just near the building

Unlike other buildings in marrakech There is no guard at the entry to check who is coming in or out ; so there is free entry to the building and to your apartment ; it is your responsibility if you bring guests Just be aware that some guests are dangerous : those walking at night around and in Macdonald ; they will cheat you , threaten you , ask you a lot of money, they can grasp a knife or a broken glass to fight if you do not pay ;some of them are underage ; so you could be in serious trouble especially if the police comes . So for safety raisons avoid ladies walking at night in Gueliz around and in Macdonald

Is the area and building safe ?
Gueliz is a super safe area you can walk at night even late nobody should bother you ; the avenues are wide and there are lights in the streets; the police is very present too. You can take a taxi it is just 10 minutes trip and it will cost you 10 to 20 dirhams .

You can also go walking ; you go down Hassan 2 till the post office than you turn in the big avenue Mohammed 5 ;you walk 15 minutes this avenue till you find the square . The souks are behind the square . 

Rules

Reception is at 2 p.m. and the apartment must be vacated by 12 p.m.

A contract will be signed before entry with a request for a photo of your identity document

The tenant is responsible for any deterioration caused to the apartment

Items of value money and papers must be kept in a safe place; in case of theft Marrakech flats can not be held responsible

It is possible to put on music until 11 at night; beyond that it would disturb the residents of the building

The apartment must be returned in good condition to avoid too much housework.

Access to the building is free; there is no guardian; no entry and exit checks are carried out.

Obviously Moroccan law must be respected; in particular drug use and prostitution are prohibited; if you break these laws it is your sole responsibility.
